This is a collector’s classic and will only appreciate in value, unlike most other motor homes. For those who know what these are you know what type of vehicle you are getting. This is arguably the best American RV ever made and was way ahead of its time. These would ride great stock and this one drives awesome with the installed upgrades. This is road ready, super reliable and a super smooth ride due to its air suspension upgraded dual air bags and aerodynamic shape. Full panoramic vision for the driver which gives a whole different feel to when driving than most other motor homes. Having the driver at this level makes you feel like you are part of the whole family experience as opposed to a trailer hook up or separate cab area. Well over $70,000. Has gone into this vehicle. Mechanical and RV systems as follows: Custom fiberglass dash with custom gauge cluster and wiring. New 2 deep cycle marine battery"s. New generator. New tail lights. New compressor tank for air bag suspension. Rebuilt top end on an original engine with only 25,0000. miles New belts and rebuilt carburetor. Electronic ignition, electronic cruise control. Insulated fuel line to help prevent vapor lock. Two upgraded modern cab air conditioner and heater. Halon fire suppression system in the engine and generator compartments. Rebuilt brakes, front and back with sensitized brake booster. Eagle aluminum wheels and tires. Two custom fabricated 36 gallon aluminum fuel tanks with two filler caps, one is connected to the other as reserve. Tanks are aluminum which prevents issues with ethanol when fuel sits in the tank with the old steel version. Upgraded Quadra-Bag Air suspension system. These originally had a single airbag on each side. The new four bag setup has a much better ride. If one went down you could not run without replacing the bag. Now with 4 bags, if one goes down you can deflate one and air up the other and get to a safe place to change the tire. You can actually jack up the vehicle with the air system to change tire. The old bags are no longer made but these are commonly used on many different systems in the RV and trucking world. This option was upwards of 5K New water system including pump, water heater and tank. New black water system including new toilet, tank and macerater setup. New smart charger. New 110v and 12 v system including new wires (110v and 12v), breaker panel outlets (110v), new fuse panel (12v), new switch panel with circuit breakers (12v) New modern fridge freezer, propane stove, sink faucet and microwave. Interior as follows: Totally gutted interior with the exception of the fiberglass bath enclosure. All the plywood floors were solid except for under the driver seat so that was replaced. Custom cabinets constructed of sandy ply and covered with black laminate. Custom cabinet handles that retract and pop out so you don’t snag on them when walking down the hallway. Counter top and dinette table were constructed with milled teak and maple strips. The floors, trim and roof are teak and maple. Mini blinds on living and bedroom areas. LED custom can lights in the ceiling that change color can be dark blue or white. The blue is nice when driving at night as it does not distract the driver. LED deck lights on the toe kicks. Vinyl sofa that folds into a bed and has console with cup holders that fold down. Also has seat belts. Vinyl captain chairs with lumbar support. Custom made RV full mattress in rear. Flat screen TV in the rear or can be mounted up front. Coaxial cables were run but are not hooked up to anything at this point. HDMI cables have been run to a central location with Blue Ray player. You can use an HDMI slitter to watch on 2 TV’s at the same time if needed. 12v stereo (I phone player) with 8 speakers throughout the cabin. This can be hooked up to the TV’s and there is a wired remote on the dashboard and in the bedroom. The radio is centrally located. There is additional storage under the couch, under the dinette seats and underneath the bed at back. Exterior as follows: Single stage white Emron type paint. I don’t know the brand but it is a Sickens affiliate. Custom aluminum tube bumpers front and rear. New windshields. LED marker lights. Custom aluminum grab bar at entry. New headlights and tail lights upgraded to modern style lenses. Tow hitch and wiring. Gas shocks and components. I’m sure I have missed some things but this is the bulk of it. There are some very minor things that need attention but nothing that would change the value of the vehicle. The front stereo remote needs to be hooked up to the radio. This vehicle requires some knowledge and common sense on how to operate if certain things are left on the batteries can be drained, if sewage tank is not drained regularly or hooked up it can overflow. Most problems can occur when not hooked up properly at the RV site. I will go over all the basic operation instructions at the point of sale. https:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_motorhome#Design_and_specifications Please call for more info or to schedule an appointment to view.
