1986 GMC top kick s/a (single axle ) dump truck with 29,900 GVW. (this gvw rating means that it’s a CDL required truck unless you qualify for personal or farm exemptions) Detroit diesel. 97,000 miles. 5-speed hi-low manual. 9 footbed. Hydraulic dump. Hydraulic brakes. Cab, and engine compartment not painted, both remain yellow. Minimal rust. Runs well. Known problems: The truck is sold as-is. 1) does not shift out of low range, probably solenoid, but no time has been put into diagnosing this, 2) key broke off in the ignition, so it’s a hotwire start. I can fix both of these, add $300 for new ignition, but not door locks, estimated at $700 for the high low range fix, subject to investigation.
