Vehicle description
1955 Scenicruiser. Serial number PD4501473. I have owned this bus for 30 years. It has always been stored indoors while I have owned it and was last run 25 years ago! This bus was always very dependable and in very good mechanical condition. Naturally this bus will require typical maintenance such as batteries, filters etc before running again. The bus was last used for a trip from Pennsylvania to Yellowstone national park. After that trip the bus was gutted for conversion but never completed. This bus is a major project but naturally a Scenicruiser is worth saving. Powered by the original 871 Detroit and 5 speed manual transmission. Prior to the bus being put in storage, the brakes, wheel seals and bearings had been serviced so have very few miles on them. The tires are all matched radials but are of course aged but have very good tread and all hold air. This bus will have to be hauled. I will assist in getting the bus out of the building and will assist in any way I can to load onto your transporter. I welcome all seriously interested individuals to come and inspect this bus before bidding. Please no tire kickers or curiosity seekers. Located in Windsor, Pa. which is close to York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Pa. and convenient to Baltimore, Maryland.
