2 002 35’ Gillig Low Floor Vehicle Description York County Transportation Authority is offering this 2001 Gillig 32 passenger bus for sale. Bus was taken out of service on August 10, 2017 due to replacement with a new bus. It runs ok, but the rear differential had a lot of chunks of metal in it when it was serviced in August. This was another reason for taking it out of service. Bus has a Cummins M11 engine and Allison 4 speed transmission. Carrier A/C system was working when in use. It has a Lift-U wheel chair ramp and two wheel chair positions in the bus. Bus is not drivable. It is missing a part of the exhaust that attaches to the turbo and has a bad alternator. Bus will not have any seat inserts when sold. Bus will need new tires. It is in poor condition. It was a Palm Transit bus in Palm Springs, Florida most of its life and doesn’t have a lot of corrosion. Has approximately 626,000 miles. Bus is being sold as is, where is. No warranties or guarantees of any kind. The successful bidder must pay for and remove bus within 7 days of close of auction, no exceptions. We are not a storage facility. If you are the high bidder and do not remove the bus within 7 days, you will be assessed a storage fee. Successful bidder must also transfer title on the day of pickup, no exceptions.
