This is a 1997 Gillig transit bus that I purchased from the Palm Beach Police Department. It was used to transit cadets to the camp. Only 69,xxx original miles. I have clear title that states 202k miles because when we picked it up they just guessed at mileage and wrote it on the title. This is a 69K mile bus. I have proof on carfax or feel free to call Palm Beach P.D. and verify VIN. Notice all the original paint on the engine. Two accidents reported from parking lot scrapes. Nothing major, just scrapes. Detroit 50 series diesel engine, Allison automatic. Im sure you know it was maintained while in use. It has been sitting in the parking lot of the police department for a while. Has a small water leak on one escape hatch, it will need new parking brake air cans on rear axel. They are disconnected because they leaked and couldnt gets parking brake to disengage. The bus runs perfect, drives perfect. Four new air bags, and new tires. Everything works as it should accept for the wheel chair step. Im not sure how that works. Air conditioning is cool, not cold, needs a touch of R22. AC circulates well. I drove the bus back home to Ft. Pierce at 60mph and ran excellent. My plans were to make it into a RV of my liking. I purchased a toy hauler instead. With just a few things done to this bus it will last a million miles and more. I believe this is one of the lowest mile bus out there. My reserve is less than 5K.
