Up for sale is a Gafner MB411 mini skidder. The engine is a 4 cylinder Mercedes diesel o m 636 107 cubic inch 38 hp 2,750 rpm`s. The transmission is a unimog U 421 Mercedes benz syncromesh 4 forward and 4 reverse, 4 wheel drive with high built planetary type axles at front and rear, Front axle drive can be switched on and off during operation, differential lock in both axles and a selector lever to put the skidder in very low gear with all 4 wheel drive for climbing steep hills or hauling heavy loads. This skidder was originally a cable type with a winch for pulling tree length logs out of the woods. But it has been converted to a forwarder with a Gafner loader and a Valby grapple which does have a seal leaking on it, and a rack that can hold 1 1/2 cords of wood. The tires are weather checked and cracked on the sidewalls and between the tire lugs, but all tires hold air with no leaks. The skidder is being sold in as is condition. There is an extra loader gafner grapple bucket that will go along with the skidder if the purchaser wants it. The skidder runs and works fine as you can see in the pictures.
