Vehicle description
Freightliner FLU419 Small Emplacement Excavator. Basically a rebranded Unimog, with a Schmidt loader and Case backhoe attached. Engine was rebuilt late 2001, whole unit recapped early 2002. It had 43 hours on it when I got it, has about 150 hours now.
Since I bought it I have replaced a few filters, the clutch button, both batteries, the stick shift cup, the tires including the spare, some hydraulic lines, and rebuilt a leaking hydraulic cylinder. So far that"s all it"s really needed. Kept up with all other regular maintenance items like greasing everything, checking all the fluid levels, and changing the oil.
Engine starts right up even after sitting a month, and everything works as expected. It has all the hydraulic tools it"s supposed to come with, though I haven"t used them since the day I received it. I printed out all the manuals I could find on it, and put them in binders. Has title paperwork, so it can be licensed and driven on the road if you desire.
