Vehicle description
This truck runs and drives pretty darn good on the highway and in town. Gears do not grind when you shift, alignment is pretty damn near perfect, and has no weird noises coming from the drivetrain or suspension. So in another word you are looking at a good work truck that with a little love can make someone good money!
All flat bed system works perfect, all winches also work.
since I purchased I have driven this truck 3 times, once from Yorktown Virginia to Elizabeth city NC just under 100 miles of distance and about 1:45 minutes or so & Truck ran and drove just fine!
Second time from Elizabeth city NC to Suffolk Virginia where it is parked now. I have come to find out that the starter will need to be rebuilt because I have to tap it in order to start the truck when it sits Parked for more then a week, and also a couple of the hydraulic lines for the flatbed are going to need replacement.
The clutch is nice and smooth and does not grind, but it is a little high so I don’t know if you need to replace the clutch or that’s how it should be. I am no tow truck expert. The MPH gauges are going to need some love as they don’t show correctly.
Cruise control works just fine and so does everything else!
Blowback on the truck is good I would say, I removed the cap and put a flat piece of paper on top to see if it would get it wet and paper stays dry as can be!
All fluids are topped off and level, truck runs nice and cool!
Truck is nice and solid, drive it home no problem!
