Vehicle description
* All information provided is as accurate as I"m able to determine from either previous owners" notes, or from direct knowledge.* LISTED LOCALLY - may end auction early if it is sold locally. 2007 RHE (Ronnie Hopkins Engineering) 105" wheelbase chassis fitted with a fiberglass body. Currently configured for land speed / various American open road races. It has, in its past, been campaigned by KCR in the NASCAR Camping World West series (believed to have been Carl Long as the driver) and more recently has been used for HPDE events, and was successfully raced in both the Big Bend Open Road Race and Silver State Classic Challenge. The hood and roof flaps have been removed and closed off for weight reduction. The car weighs approximately 3247 lbs. The engine is no longer the original SB2, but the much more affordable GM iron small block 383 with a Scat crank and rods, billet mains, JE pistons, Dart iron heads, an Edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor. A 26-gallon RCI fuel cell (recent refresh) and Peterson 400-series fuel filter lead to the CV mechanical fuel pump. The transmission is a Super T-10 4-speed with a Long shifter and Simpson SFI boot which is all backed up by a Quarter Master multi-disc unsprung clutch and then a 9" Ford rear. Also included with the original (loud) NASCAR boom tube exhaust, is an "H" pipe exhaust with a pair of Flowmaster Outlaw mufflers for tracks that require it. The car also comes with a brand new premium custom car cover. Inside the car is an Ultra Shield VS Halo seat and brand new Simpson Platinum 6-point camlock harness. The Woodward quick release sits atop a collapsible steering column and holds a Superior Steering Wheels "Fat Boy" and is fitted with a prerequisite hub pad. The main gauge cluster is a combination of Auto Meter gauges, and the car has an air-fuel gauge and GPS speedometer. The fire system is an electronic SPA AFFF multi-zone (engine, cockpit, fuel cell). The polycarbonate front, rear and sail panel windows are in good condition but the windshield could use a good polish. Included as spares with the car, besides the muffled exhaust is a tote with several extra/optional coil springs of various ratings, 8 spare Basset wheels (some used, some new), some used tires and a new set of Goodyear Racing Eagle road course "stickers". Also included are spare headlight and tail light decals in case you choose to re-paint or wrap the car. Feel free to ask any questions relevant to your interest in BUYING the car. In-person inspections are welcome. The car is being sold AS-IS, where is. We also have a bumper-pull enclosed trailer that could be bought if there is interest to the buyer of the car. There is a very reasonable reserve on this car and once the reserve is met. .the high bidder gets this awesome car! Pickup will be in Cleburne, Texas. Again, ask questions and only bid if you are serious, please.
