1971 Pinto Hatchback, go racing on a budget. Car is turnkey and ready to go racing. Engine and transmission are fresh and will last several season with minor maintenance. This car is built well, not a hack job. You would not be embarrassed to be seen in it. Car hooks up well on both the track and the street. Nicely built lightweight 1971 Pinto hatchback. Removable fiberglass front end and doors. Lexan windshield and door windows. 5 gallon fuel cell and Holley blue pump. Line lock. Wildwood front 5 lug disc brakes, drums in the back. Auto meter tach, shift light and gauges. Removable steering wheel with transbrake button, Hurst shifter with line lock button. Car weighs about 1860 lbs wet. Engine: 351 Cleveland, 4 bolt main (D2AE-CA block), aftermarket steel crank and rods, 4 barrel closed chamber heads, approximately 11 to 1 compression ratio. Solid lifter cam, aluminum 1.73 roller rockers, Edelebrock Torker intake, AED Carb, MSD distributor and 6AL ignition and HVC coil, Meziere electric water pump, fluid dampener, custom made headers. Aluminum radiator and electric fan. Runs very strong, would estimate about 550-600 HP. Engine mounted with front and mid plates. Power adder: NX nitrous system, adjustable 50-250 shot (have jets). Currently set up for a 150 shot. NOS nitrous progressive controller and guage. Transmission: Custom built C4, Pro tree transbrake, 4500 stall convertor and separate transmission cooler. MSD 2 Step for transbrake Rear: Narrowed and braced 9 inch. Full spool with 4.88 ring and pinion. Ladder bar/coil over chassis setup with safety straps. Adjustable wheelie bars. Rims and tires: Weld Draglites, 15 x 4 in the front with NEW Hoosier track tires, 15 x12 in the rear with NEW Hoosier 31 x 14 D05 compound slicks. Body and paint are in decent condition.
