1966 MUSTANG COUPE "road race prepared"
1966 Mustang Race Car - VIN 6R076217603 - Set up for vintage road racing. Car was built
and prepared by Rich and Larry Cleland of Woodland, CA. Any questions feel free to call them

Track ready and can be raced with NASA, SCCA, SVRA, VARA, Etc. Engine Hi-performance block with complete race prep 331cid. Rotating assembly includes Scat steel lightweight crank with JE 13:1 pistons connected to H-beam rods with ARP bolts. 1969 351 Windsor Heads built by Roush Engineering with D port exhaust. Manly stainless steel valves with titanium retainers and 10-degree locks. Harlan Sharp roller rockers and stud girdle also included. Crower custom ground cam 5.88 intake, 5.95 exhaust, 258 degrees @ .050, 108degree lobe center, 2 degree advanced, 0.22 lash cold, 38 degree timing total. Melling thru shaft racing oil pump with Earl’s oil cooler. Billet timing set with thrust bearings 5-core race radiator (engine never runs hot). Exhaust flows thru Hooker super competition headers. Ram 7” multi-disc road race clutch with billet case connected to a Dan William’s top loader close ratio transmission. Ford 9” rear-end 28 spline axles, 4.33 ratio Detroit Locker, and the housing has been decambered 3/4 degree. Front suspension is custom built upper A-arms with NASCAR screw in ball joints, 705lb front springs. 195 lb. rear springs. Kelsey Hays 4-piston front disc brakes race prepped and plumbed with cooling. Rear brakes are Ford Trans Am 11-1/2x3 rear drum brakes. Spax (England) adjustable race shocks. 15x7 American mags D-spoke with 6.00 15 Goodyear Tires. Fuel cell with Carter race fuel pump with Fram race fuel filter. Roll cage with 120wall tubing. Track times at Sonoma Raceway in the sub 1:52’s.
