“The jeep drives like new. The steering is tight. The shocks are new. The springs and shackles are like new. Some jeeps feel like they are 80 years old. Not this one. I have owned more than 20 wwii jeeps. This is the one I was going to keep and drive forever. Then I found out when you die you can’t take anything with you. Nothing!! So, who ever gets it is very fortunate. It is not perfect. The gauges work but are not correct. The speedometer is correct but not connected. There are a few Phillips head screws instead of flat head. The blackout light bracket should be the early tombstone style to match the bolt holes in the fender. All the bolts on the frame are new, premium high torc/tension bolts, NOT original or old rusty recycled bolts. The paint was ‘touched up’ in a few spots, most notably on the hood. The driver’s side seat frame needs to be bead blasted and repainted. Bubba cut the hole. The passenger seat pan was repaired. The frame is perfect and original, the pan is functional.”

I have the Utah title Oil pressure gauge works 12 volt alternator installed, alt gauge works, push button ignition The previous owner spent a great deal of money, time and effort working on the tub, axles, engine and transmission. Sadly, the gentleman that did all the work never drove the jeep. I rescued it before someone else turned it into a rock crawler. The bottom of the tub is coated with a rubber undercoating. The wiring is new, not original. The wires to the lights were never connected but are labeled and coiled up under the dash. The tub, hood, fenders, seat frames, combat rims and windshield frame are original. Many f script bolts. The locking front hubs engage and disengage as designed. Engines starts and runs, doesn’t overheat. The crack below the distributor was welded. See pics. Watch for the wwii SAS jeep I will list next
