> Hello and thanks for viewing our 2010 Ford Econoline 450 Shuttle Bus vin # (1FDFE45P89DA85017). We purchased this bus from a local municipality where it was used for senior / handicap transport. In my 17 years of automotive industry experience, you cannot find a better previous owner than a state or municipality. Their vehicles are always serviced on time , oil is always changed every 3 months or 3k miles whichever comes first. They are never run low on fuel becuase the people driving them don"t pay for fuel. And most of them and this particular one as well was stored indoors since new. That is why this bus is basically 100% rust free. Another really good thing about this particular bus is it was used for senior and handicap transport and it was never beat on. Due to the fact this bus was used by a municipality to transport people it was never allowed to travel at high or excessive speeds. So basically what we have here is a super clean , extra well taken care of Diesel bus that will last it’s new owners years to come! This bus is also equipped with a 2010 year 6.0 Diesel engine. The 2008 year and up 6.0 has upgraded head studs and is a lot more reliable. They only put post 2007 6.0"s in the E Series because the larger 6.4"s would not fit. With that being said when you buy a post 2007 E series diesel, your getting one that does not come with the typical headaches that came with the earlier models of that engine. This vehicle has only 231k Miles and itl runs fine and wouldn"t have made it this far if it were junk. Most shuttle buses we get usually come with at least 350k miles. This is an exception to the norm and with 231k (low miles) you can expect years and years out of this unit I’ve sold plenty of late model 6.0"s with 3-600k that still ran great so if you continue to change your oil and treat the vehicle right it may last a life time. These things run better then some low milage units because they were fleet maintenanced and they were checked and tended to every 30 days. I’ll try to describe this particular bus with a little more detail. The engine starts right up with a quick half turn of the key ,even in the cold. The engine runs smooth and sound and does not make any odd noises or blow any excessive smoke out of the exhaust. The transmission shifts smooth and on the mark without any banging or hesitation. You can cycle the gear shifter and the vehicle goes from park to reverse and drive nice and smooth with no banging or clunking. This bus drives nice and straight down the road and does not drift to either side even when traveling at higher speeds. There is no cracked glass and no warning lights or check engine lights on the dash. All (6) Tires are practically brand new. The brakes work rear and don’t squeak or grind. . To sum it all up this bus can be purchased and put right to use. The current seating set up is adjustable. This particular bus was set up for 8 regular passengers and 3-4?wheel chairs plus the driver. The seating can be customized for no additional charge by me , as i have seats from previous bus sales that customers have requested us to remove . I can make it up to a full 15 passenger if needed. I also can remove the wheelchair ramp and or seats If it is not needed and the bus suits your needs better without it, i would also do this free of additional charge. I know the rules in NJ say that a maximum of 15 passengers can be on board without the operator needing a CDL, if you want to have more then 15 , check your states laws or make sure your operator has a CDL. I can honestly say I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability and I stake my 10 years of solid feedback on all my descriptions. That being said , we do still recommend that potential buyers inspect the van BEFORE buying. If you are out of state , we will go out of our way to send you extra pictures and even videos of the bus starting/ running and driving upon request. There are also 3rd party inspection companies in the area that will inspect the vehicle for you and give you a unbiased full report card at your own expense. I am simply letting you know those types of services are available. Even though this is one of the cleanest and nicest buses I"ve had in awhile, it is still 9 years old and does have a tiny amount of use and wear, don"t expect a brand new unit and we won"t have any problems.The Bus has never been in any major damage and has a clean title . I said it before and I"ll say it again, this Ford is absolutely amazing and it"s next owner will definitely not be disappointed. If you really like this unit I suggest buying it now. These vehicles when they are this clean never make it more then a day or two before being sold. If the vehicle does not sell after a few days I may decide to accept a reasonable offer but like I said they usually sell quick and this one is a lot nicer then some of the recent ones we"ve had for sale. If your going to buy it now or make an offer please have the funds already available and please leave the required deposit within 24 hours. I have been buying and selling for over 10 years on and have been able to maintain a very solid feedback the whole time. Unfortunately for us good sellers, most happy customers do not leave feedback so keeping good feedback is certainly an achievement. I do my best to honestly describe each vehicle. Because of age This vehicle is sold AS-IS and deposits are non-refundable. Over the years I have found that a few simple rules and policies can save my self from wasting time with fake buyers who bid for entertainment purposes only. The bus is available to be seen pretty much 7 days a week upon appointment and again for out of state buyers I can take as many additional pictures as requested and I can also provide a video of the vehicle starting and running. . I do not have any policies that any other legitimate auction site has. Again if you buy it now or I decide to take an offer please be prepared to leave the deposit and follow thru with the deal. No low balling please do a little research and a one owner clean Shuttle Bus in this shape is worth this kind of money ,most of the other shuttles are 20k plus$$$ nobody is unhyiip it"s a life long investment. There is no such thing as buying and then coming to "look" at it. If you want to look please do that before purchasing.
