up for auction is a vintage 1955 thunderbird gasser, that was started but never completed. the front suspension was removed and replaced with an early ford front axle / transverse spring. the front suspension is possibly from a 1933/36 ford. the rear axle is a question mark, it has left hand and right hand studs. the body is in overall good condition, but the real surprise is in the floor pan/ trunk floor area. they are in great condition with all of the original ford red paint intact. both rear quarter panels have been modified to accept larger drag slicks. the chassis crossmember has been cut for a larger motor and will require some repairs.both side glasses are in place but the windshield is missing. this will make a KILLER vintage race car, or could possibly be restored due to the amazing floor pan. i have the original power seat, and rear bumper. the wheels and tires are NOT part of the auction, just used as rollers for photos. bill of sale only. i"m selling for a customer, he is not negotiable on price, but might do a trade.
