Vehicle description

Relisting due to a nonpaying bidder. Don"t bid unless you are ready to buy. Read the following VERY carefully.
You are bidding a M151 Frankenjeep. It started life as an M151A1, got demiled & then somewhere along the line, someone welded an A2 rear half to the A1 front half. The A1 data plate is still on the dash. This was located in Hollywood, FL & was a father & son project until the father passed.
When I got the truck, it didn"t run and didn"t have a Title. I was told the in-tank fuel pump had failed and an after market electric pump added. The truck was partially disassembled. It"s mostly complete except for the top bows. Very pleased to find out the engine is not stuck. . turns easily with a socket and breaker bar. It rolls and steers fine. The clutch also seems to be good and strong. The transmission shifts easily. Easily pushed by one guy. .two are better. No brakes. I definitely have a distributor for it. I am pretty sure I have a rear diff and carburetor to throw in. Unsure if I have a rear driveshaft for it. Whatever I do have will go with it.
Even though I bought it for parts to help restore my early, uncut M151, I realized the body might be worth saving even though it was cut. I don"t weld, so this is beyond my skills. Bottom line - you will have to decide if the truck is better for parts or to restore. If you go the restoration route, you will need body panels and an underbody repair kit. Thank God there are millions of spare parts out there for these things, as well as new, quality body panels from Cameron Manufacturing.
Use Buy It Now and I will throw in an A2 grille, A2 windshield, correct windshield hinges, NOS A2 fender kits & an A2 hood.
The winner needs to make payment in full within 5 calendar days after the auction ends. PayPal or certified funds from a US bank in US funds are OK for payment. Allow time for your check to clear - I won"t release the truck until my bank gives me the Thumbs Up.
Transportation arrangements and costs are the winning bidder"s responsibility. I highly recommend that any transporter used to move this be equipped with a winch. I will assist with loading, but will not load for you. Let me know if you have any questions, and Good Luck bidding !
