Vehicle description
Very straight old example of an early Streamline 28ft Empress 28ft. 10 inches (total) WITH the extremely rare & desirable wrap around front windows. When sitting inside this beauty it feels like being outside with all the light & complete wrap around views.
Sorta similar to a vintage Spartan Manor with the front observation windows YET without the tall side sliding windows that the Manor"s have which require bar stools to see out of the side windows!
This was an expensively, overbuilt trailer in it"s day AND it had to be in order to compete in a market that was dominated by Airstream for many years prior to Streamline"s production start.
With an all Aluminum "riveted" aircraft construction incorporating the stronger/more beautiful "stamped" aluminum coach works AND a triple beam frame for added rigidity as well.
The design is so 50"s, with it"s awesome "forward leaning profile" giving the illusion of moving forward while sitting still.
From it"s classic lines of the extreme sloped rear end to it"s forward leaning wheel wells, to it"s crazy "rocket" type tail lights protruding from the body & a "3rd eye" tail light on top. Absolutely out of this world design!
Restore for use as the ultimate camping trailer, air b&b, guest room/pool cabana, mountain cabin or travelling the country in classic style!
