“Mechanically, this bus is in excellent condition. It was maintained meticulously by Bollman Charters (who owned bus since new). Clear coat is peeling from roof, so bus will need to be at least partially repainted. Aluminum siding is in excellent condition. Rock chip in curb side windshield. Interior is very clean with no tears in upholstery (bus was reupholstered by Bollman). There is some rust, as this is an east coast bus, however Bollman did replace some of the steel tubing underneath the bus and none of the rust is structural. See photos for reference.” |

Vehicle description
1994 Eagle Model 15 - 40 foot long, 102" wide seated coach Detroit Diesel Series 60 12.7 liter (DDEC) Allison HT-740 (electronic)
This bus was purchased new in 1994 by Bollman Charter in Everett, Pennsylvania. Bollman was a loyal Eagle customer since the 1970s (or earlier) and continued purchasing new Eagles every couple of years all the way up to 1998, when Eagle went out of business. Bollman still has the last seated Eagle coach ever made, and one of the last (if not the last) seated 45 foot Model 15 still in service. This is a 1994 model, coach number 226.
Bollman has a reputation of taking excellent care of their buses and is meticulous with their maintenance program. I flew up to Pennsylvania and inspected the 4 Eagle coaches that Bollman had left in 2016, and chose this one. I drove the bus back from Pennsylvania to California in November 2016 with absolutely no issues. The bus rides very smoothly and has lots of power (thanks to the Series 60).
Front and tag tires are new. Drive tires still have a fair amount of tread left. All Alcoas are in good condition. Aluminum siding is in good condition. The paint is faded along the road side (left side) and rear of the bus. The clear coat is peeling in several areas along the roof.
The engine has lots of power, transmission shifts smoothly. A/C system works very well, and this bus also has the Welch Industries supplemental A/C unit in the rear of the bus. Bus has a video system with 3 screens on the right side of the passenger compartment, and a working VHS/DVD player. Also has a Webasto system, however I have not needed to use this in California.
Engine has about 245,000 miles on a rebuild. Transmission has about 75,000 miles. A/C compressor was replaced about 15,000 miles ago. I have a maintenance history on this bus that I am happy to send via e-mail.
Please message me with any questions. I am happy to assist with coordinating shipping (arranged and paid for by buyer).
