Up for auction is a 1981 Silver Eagle Bus. This unit has a newly rebuilt engine, transmission and blower with less than 5k miles on each. The turbo is also new. The engine does smoke when starting/cold, but if you"re familiar with these Detroit 6v92 engines, it is simply the nature of them. Tires are 98% with even less miles than the powertrain. Most of the seats have been removed except for a few in the back that have removable tables. The previous owner was going to rebuild the interior to make a RV/motorhome but he never got around to it. This unit is mechanically sound, and would be a great project for someone looking to build/customize their own RV affordably. Bus is currently located in Tunica, MS.
