This trailer is the best trailer I have ever had. Built in 1985 by Drake, it is a rare find today. This trailer can be either a gooseneck or a 5th wheel hook up. The other advantages to this trailer start with it"s short length that allow you to make very tight turns. One car sits in the belly while 2 cars sit on top. The rear axle is a dually axle that allows you to carry heavy weight and still have a great turning radius. The trailer has electric/ hydraulic brakes. The tires were installed last year and I have not used it since. I hate to sell it but I have no need for it. I had the trailer registered at 18k lbs and did not need a cdl to drive because the combined loaded weight was under 26k lbs. This trailer was bought to transport cars between 2 of my shops 80 miles apart and has very little use over the last 5 years. The brakes may need to be bled and some connections may need to be cleaned on the winch as a result of sitting, but this trailer was always very reliable and handles like a dream. The trailer is a total of 35" long from goosneck to tail, but only 27" extends from the truck when attached. The fifth wheel set up is bolted on currently, but I also have a gooseneck adapter that bolts in its place if you prefer. This trailer has both.This is a great strong trailer that is short and light. The rear axle is a 5" diameter and is the largest available rated at 10,000 lbs and up. Attention shippers; This trailer can make you money.
