1971 Dodge Challenger R/T. Originally a 340 4-SP R/T. This car was converted to race duty in the late 80"s and raced actively until the early 2000"s around Sonoma Ca. I purchased the car as a roller in 2010 . I have modernized and brought this classic racer back to life. I have made 58 passes in the car, it drives great and is consistent.Three light passes on completely new engine. 514 Ci 400 low deck Mopar, 920 HP at the crank shaft, K-1 rods, Keith Black billet crank, Ross pistons, B-1 heads, Jessell Rockers, B-1 intake, Proform carb, MSD trigger, box and distributor. All wiring is tidy soldered and shrinked. Mechanical systems are designed for ease of maintenance and quick turnarounds. Trans is a 727 with a bolt in sprag, Alum drum, heavy duty clutches, A-1 converter, Griner trans brake, Cheetah air shift with bottle and regulator. Pro cube delay box, Dedenbear throttle stop, Magnafuel fuel pump, Oil sump, Remote filter. Backup transmission, Spare block and there are several extra items included in this sale that I"ve not listed here. Recent {3/18}NHRA chassis cert to 8.5. Car is capable of low 9"s in the 1/4,. Car is sold on a bill of sale and the original bill of sale from when i purchased the car is included. The original Vin tag is still present on drivers door.
