Vehicle description
1952 Dodge M37 PowerWagon. This vehicle has been gone through top to bottom. new canvas top and seats, brand new wire harness. toggles switches for 12/24 volt power and lights. The original military light switch was missing, opted to not reinstall a new one due to new wire harness and 12 volt ignition conversion, 12 volt head and taillights. 24 volt original starter. Original vacuum wipers, all lights, gauges etc work as they should. high/low range and 4x4 work perfectly. Great clutch, no slipping. New tires as well.
This truck is papered from the day it was bought from the army by a county fire department in 1984. I am the third owner of this vehicle,it has a clean title in my name and passed inspection. I drive this truck weekly when its nice weather so the original 5719 miles will go up slowly until purchased. I have spoken to the original fire chief who department purchased this from the Army, to his knowledge the engine has never been rebuilt, making that its original mileage. The engine numbers match as the M37 truck engine. According to Chrysler, all the numbers on this truck match to their records they could pull on it, making everything original. I have in my possession the original SF97, the bills of sales, the original court order from 1989 and my court order from the State of MO to title it in my name, which I now have the title in my possession. All original paperwork will be included in the sale.
This truck has been gone through to ensure everything operates as it should. Starts every time without fail, regardless of the weather and runs flawless. Zero issues. All gauges read correctly, holds temperature perfect, charges as it should, great oil pressure and does not burn a drop of oil. runs like a top. If you are looking for a cheap project vehicle of a hack wiring/mechanic job, this is not the truck for you. The only thing this truck may need is new weather stripping around the doors. this is an original truck, so there is no heater installed, they mount on the driver side fender.
There is no rust on this truck. underside is as clean as the top side.
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO SET UP AND PAY FOR SHIPPING. This truck isnt the fastest thing on the road, I"ve taken it on a couple 40+ mile one way trips with no issues, but it would be very time consuming to drive it to a different state. It would definitely make the trip, it would take a long time as top speed in these is around 40 mph. That will be up to buyers discretion to drive or ship it. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO SET UP AND PAY SHIPPING FOR THIS 1952 DODGE M37! SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN SALE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE!
