So, I"am offering this bus whole without an engine. Many years ago we had to steal it to keep another bus running but now I may be retiring THAT bus out and so the original engine might actually be available soon. If I don"t get any interest in the bus whole I my start parting it out so contact me if you are interested ether way.
The seats were newly upholstered about 1 1/2 years before we pulled the motor ($5000). The Transmission is an Allison B-500. Not a B-500R like you might be used to. I would guess about 150k on a rebuild. We spent a lot of money on the front suspension just before we parked it. What is very interesting is the it has an electric retarder that is mounted to the rear differential not the transmission. The side window glass is good and the front right windshield and front bumper have NO miles on them. . .
This was a running bus when we parked it. It could be a great bus for you to upgrade your older Dina or move your parts over to this one. The sound and video system is still intact.
You should expect to tow it with a Landoll. Tires are not that great
