Vehicle description
Up for sale is a 21 passenger (22 including the driver) bus. Bus is in good working order and ready to roll. Tires are good and is inspected and registered in the state of Texas. Has the 6.0L turbo charged Power Stroke motor. Our church is selling the bus because we have had difficulty maintaining a pool of CDL drivers. We are switching back to a 15 passenger vehicle that does not require a CDL in Texas. Bus has 54,373 miles.
This past summer we had the air conditioning compressor replaced as well as the lines that run from the front of the bus to the rear AC unit. AC blows nice and cold now and the heat gets hot. Bus has minor damage on the passenger side rear corner of the fiberglass cabin (pictured). There is staining on the ceiling. The previous owner (a school district) said some kids sprayed off a coke in the bus. We have never seen any leaking from the ceiling. The first window on the passenger side will occasionally leak during a heavy rain.
This bus has a rear luggage compartment that is accessed through a rear door. The seal on the door was bad when we purchased the bus. The decking in the rear is a bit spongy from getting wet but we have never had any problem with it. The decorative shields for the AC lines were removed when the system was repaired.
Overall I would grade the bus at a B- cosmetically. There are stains, etc in the passenger area but no rips or tears. The exterior looks pretty good except for the rear corner that was already mentioned. Mechanically the bus is an A and is ready to go. All safety equipment is operational on the bus. Lights, signals, etc all work as they should. I would be happy to answer any questions I can on the vehicle.
