This is a real FULL electric Bus, with two powerful Bosch electric motors.
this bus can be setup for full electric or on Board charger, this have the expensive configuration onboard Capstone microturbine Engine with CNG. it recharge batteries on road to extend range oft he batteries but it can easy removed or disable to use 100% electric.
There are the most high quality buses in the Market, 2 x Bosch Electric Motors of 120 KW each (same technology as Tesla Motors)
ZF suspension and steering, A132 Drive and Bendix disk brakes with ABS and ATC.
This Buses was purchase by Arlington city in 2014 for $640.000 each bus, plus the Power Booster
This buses have less than 10.000 miles when was retired from service. One of the buses was involved in small accident in a steep hill due a Driver error.
