Vehicle description
Selling my 1966 Crown Supercoach bus. This was originally built for Hewlett-Packard (one of two) as an instrumentation mobile lab. It was later turned into an RV and then later gutted to be updated as an RV again. Aluminium exterior panels. Factory roof lift, 7ft interior height. Odometer and speedometer and fuel gauge don"t work. 150 gallon diesel fuel tank, I"ve got a measuring stick to determine how many gallons are in the tank. I was told by previous owner that the engine (Cummins 743 NH220) and transmission (Fuller Roadranger 10 speed manual) were rebuilt about 20k miles ago, but no documentation on this. Engine is located in the middle of the bus with multiple access points to work on the engine. Williams 3 stage engine brake. Replaced both passenger rear tires 1 month ago along with an oil change/coolant change/fuel filter change. Other tires are in good shape. Drives down the road easily at 70mph on the flats at 1800rpm. Just got done driving it 1100 miles with no issues. Clear title (no CDL or special license needed to drive. . ironically titled as a Van since the DMV said it didn"t have anything inside to determine it was a motor home). Asking $10,000 or best offer. No warranty, selling as-is. Airport 10 miles away that flies to Denver and back daily.
