1989 Crown Supercoach II
Detroit 6v92m Automatic 87 pax 40" 2 axle Model: 2R-40N-552 VIN (last 6 #s) KC102239 Body and paint is very good condition. Maintenance Records Bus can not be put into service in the state of California Approx Miles: 416k No warranty expressed or implied by seller, seller reserves the right to sell bus locally and remove this listing. This is the premier school bus of California. These are the original heavy duty long living buses ever built. Crown pioneered the first front control, flat nosed bus with the door in front of the axle back in 1932. The Crown Coach has the reputation of being one of best of the best in the school bus world.
The potential of such a bus is great: Fully self contained conversion, a day camper, a toy or preserve as a historical vehicle. There is no other bus that looks or drives like a Crown!
This particular model is the redesign of the later years, they called them Supercoach series II. Underfloor storage, rear engine and squared front and rear.
