Up for auction is a 1979 Crown School Bus. This one is a true survivor of yesteryear! Very few Crowns of this vintage still exist. Most were crushed over the years. They have now become very popular and are highly sought after. This one was delivered new to ARA Transportation in California. Has a 5 speed manual transmission. (Stick shift). Mechanically it"s in great condition. Engine is underfloor in the middle. Still has the original engine that was re-built. (Not sure when.) Starts right up with minimal smoke and doesn"t leak oil. Lots of storage space in the back. Could be used for a conversion, band or church bus.
