Vehicle description
For sale is a used 1988 Crown school bus. It holds 84 passengers at 3 per seat or 56 passengers at 2 per seat. The school bus runs but smokes. The bus is currently certified by the CHP as you can see on the 292 form (see picture).
The engine is a Detroit 671T with an automatic transmission. The engine smoke is most likely caused by the piston rings needing to be replaced. There is also water leak inside the engine which is mixing water and oil in the exhaust.
The mileage is unknown. We bought it used and have had it in our fleet for about 3 years.
There are no major dents or damage to the bus. The rust is minimal around the passenger entrance and driver window area.
