I am relisting my Vintage 1970 2 cycle EZ Go Golf Cart as the winner of the bid 11-11 cancelled the sale. It is done in Traditional John Deere Green & Yellow.
This cart captured my heart and I traveled a distance to get it, it needed repairs, but I thought that would be easy.
Not so easy for a girl that is not mechanically inclined.
Seems parts for a 1970 are hard to get, could put a new 2 or 4 cycle golf cart engine into it if you are Mechanical and then you"d have a really CoOl running relic for $300-900!
For me, that would be too costly in labor, but could still have a great vintage cart for 1500-2000 with a new engine- still a great deal! I will keep her and rebuild her if this sale fails to produce. I just picked her up from the shop last with the sad news, as you can see she is on the trailer in pics and in need of a good bath. .
I had plans to paint her rims John Deere yellow and make some other aesthetic improvements. Body in great shape, just really needs a new engine or the right part to keep the spark ignited. .part unknown, might be unavailable? Has some new parts in her that helped a bit, but ultimately she needs a well versed mechanic to take her on that loves nostalgia as much as I do.
