For sale is a retired Compass360 Racing TSX race car. This car is the only surviving example from the team that won multiple Grand-Am Koni Challenge and CCTCC races with the TSX (CL9). The team’s Grand-Am Koni Challenge (now the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge) race history with this platform includes wins at historic and legendary tracks including Daytona International Speedway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen International Raceway, and the Circuit Trois-Rivières, along with many other podium finishes at major race tracks at professional-level events: Billy Johnson at Laguna Seca
As a track day weapon, this car is a fast, reliable, and an extremely drivable car. Under my ownership, the car served as my driver training tool: TSX at Sonoma 2017 . This car would be eligible to run in SCCA, NASA, Honda Challenge and other series with updated safety equipment (seats, harness, fire bottle, etc) . Original build cost on a car like this would have been just under $100k, including the donor car.
Engine/Gearbox: - K24 block - “Sealed” customer motor from Skunk2 Racing, meets regulations of Koni World Challenge circa 2006-2009 - 6 speed manual transmission - 4-2-1 racing headers - Apexi 3.5” exhaust with downturn exit - Recently tuned on Dyno at Blacktrax performance (187whp @ 6300rpm, 177wtq @ 5200rpm, 7800rpm redline)
Chassis: - 2005 Acura TSX CL9 chassis - Custom rollcage with NASCAR bars - Moton motorsport 3-way coilovers w/ remote reservoir - Custom sleeved sway bars - Cusco aluminum front strut brace - 4-piston Acura front calipers w/ in-car Tilton bias valve - Enkei RPF1 wheels 17x9 +35 - Toyo Proxes RR tires - 2600lbs with full fuel load (36/64 F-R weight balance, 1300lbs cross-corner)
