For your consideration is a 1942 Columbia G519 Navy bicycle. Serial # MG 92217. A fresh restoration of this bike was completed this summer (06/2017). The only item I did not "restore" is the interior of the Delta light (see pics).
This bicycle is entered in the MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Assoc.) show in Gilbert, PA the weekend of 09/15 &16.
I do not believe it is possible to ship a freshly restored bicycle without inflicting some sort of damage….As such, pick up after the mentioned show is requested or you can pick up the bike @ 18603 in NE PA.
In addition, I can deliver the bike to the Fall bicycle meet in Trexlertown, PA on 09/30, or to the Fall antique auto meet in Hershey, PA 10/05 or 10/06.
As mentioned, the bike will be at the upcoming Gilbert show….If you wish to pick up the bike after the show I will accept payment at that time for the Gilbert show only. Payment prior to delivering the bike to Trexlertown or Hershey will be necessary. To be clear, I will not transport this bike without payment in full I will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please note this bicycle is for sale locally. As such, I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.
