Vehicle description
This is a vintage 1982 Coleman "Colonial" Pop-Up Camper. It has been well-maintained and stored under cover while we have owned it for the last 15 years. It is in excellent condition for its age. You can start camping the day you pick this up! We can easily tow it with our minivan (1-7/8" hitch). The previous owner, an engineer, installed a slide-out air-conditioning unit that still works . Appliances, mechanicals, and most electricals are in working order. Inside there is an AC/DC power converter so that you can run the inside lights and small appliance from either car power or an AC plug in. A propane tank is included for operation of the stove. Tires and wheel bearings are in good working order as are the brake lights and blinkers (side marker lights on passenger side are out). It has two full sized beds on the ends and the dining area converts into another bed. It does have a small water storage tank, but we have never used it. This comes with the original owner"s manual! The camper titled in Blount County.
This is a nearly 40 year old camper, so there are some nicks, scratches, small dents, and faded areas - but we camped in it recently with no problems! The roof does not leak despite some hail damage that occurred before we purchased it. It is a great first camper for a family! We have loved it, but it is time to pass it on. Please ask any questions that you have prior to bidding.
