Vehicle description
Up for auction is this rare and super-fun vintage camper. The 1963 Aristocrat Li"l Loafer is something really special measuring only 12 feet from bumper to tongue and super light-weight. This cutie can be easily pulled with a small vehicle. Though not perfect, it is in surprisingly good shape for a 60 year old camper. Because I am selling as-is , I try to be as thorough as possible with the 24 pics I am able to post. There is some water damage , but not much for the year. It can be used as is and is an excellent candidate a total restore. I have included pics of the typical trouble spots. . in cupboards and along seams, etc. Floor is solid and still has the original linoleum. Undercarriage is good. Tires are fair. Upholstery and curtains are not original, but very cute! The previous owner added a furnace that is large for the size of this trailer, so you wont be getting cold, that"s for sure! A newer converter has been installed. The jack is not original and the water tank and faucet have been removed. Interior and exterior lights are working except the porch lights. The coupler uses a 2" ball, it has a newer single propane tank and a four-flat wiring connection. It also has two spare tires mounted on the back bumper. The outside could use a paint job for sure. The front and rear windows have been resealed with new butyl tape, but the rest still need to be done, as well as the roof and j-rail. If you do those things, it will last for many more years. As you can see from one of the pictures, I did a small test spot on the window frame with a little aluminum polish. I only spent a few minutes on it. It is going to shine up beautifully! With a little love, you will be the talk of the campground. As always, please ask all the questions you like and request more pics. I don"t mind answering and will do my best to make sure there are no unpleasant surprises for whoever ends up with this cutie! Thanks for looking and have a great night!
