I"m selling my 31 foot 1999 Dutchman RV Motorhome, or driving camper with 70k miles. It has the bulletproof ford v10 gas engine and smooth shifting auto transmission. It runs great. This is the best social distanced fun you can have for the money! I have had it the last 5 years. It has a new roof 1.5 years ago which happened up in Dayton,OH. 6 new tires, and new brakes all around last year. It drives, shifts smoothly and is in great shape. I"m the third owner and bought this off my uncle who was the second owner. He ran out after trying the RV world in this RV for three years and fell in love with the life so he bought a brand new one as a retirement toy. He then gave me (his favorite/only close by nephew) the opportunity to buy it off of him. I have most every receipt and everything done to it plus the manuals for it and all the extras needed to have a great time. I"ve had it 5 years and had it maintained by eastside storage and RV in Lancaster, OH also this is where I stored it and they are just a great group of people btw if you want to keep it in the area. I"ve taken this and my wife"s whole family to Virginia Beach from Central Ohio. We"ve taken it to Michigan every year for the past 5 years with just the wife and kids, and countless times to Cedar Point and many many campgrounds with friends and the use of it as an occasional people bus for my birthday, which was always a great adult fun time!
I"m selling this as I purchased a lake house and boat on Buckeye Lake and we are not using it as often this summer and I want someone else to enjoy the great outdoors in it! Once again, this is the best camping and travel family hauler and social distanced fun time you can buy for the money.
It has a tow hitch in both the front and the back (the original owner ((Family friend of my Uncle)) took this to Canada with his wife and toured around and pulled his small John boat, so he could put it on the front to load it in the water easier.) Most people just put a bike rack on the front and carry kids stuff on the hitch. It has ice cold A/C in both the front cab and the main motorhome or coach. The mainhome (Coach) A/C runs off an Onan 4000 generator with both an outside on/off switch or in cabin on/off switch by the counter (one of those cool dealer options.) or it runs off the Electrical plug which plugs into a power outlet at a campground or your real home on either a 210 or 110 outlet Adapter (included) which is nice (btw this comes with all the thick power cords, outlet attachments, white fresh water hoses , holding tank hoses, and leveling blocks, so you don"t blow 500 dollars in needed accessories just after you bought a different rv that the folks are putting in their new one) She"s turn key and ready to go). This generator has double the capacity of most 2000 Onan Generators put on campers and motorhomes. It has a Propane gas stove, propane gas/electric and battery fridge. A flat screen TV for movies with the kids with hdmi outs for your favorite programs. It has Power Outlets everywhere. and so much storage. It says it can sleep 6. But I"d say 5 adults comfortably as the couch folds into one wide bed that could sleep two smaller adults? ? The table turns into a flat bed also and i"d say only 1.5 adults could sleep there and the pull out by the tv is just a one adult or as my daughter did 2 kids easily as that is the coolest bed with its own curtains ect. It does have two batteries with an auto shut off to never kill either the coach (house) battery or the Truck battery so the vehicle will always start in the morning. It also has a master kill switch button by the front door so if you forget and leave something on it will kill everything and not waste batteries. Also it has a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detectors and fire detectors all through out it. I also upgraded it to a digital thermostat for the RV heat and A/C. Also it has an outside and inside temperature by the side door just to see how great it is having AC in the great outdoors.
The main bed in the back has a foam queen mattress added by my aunt and uncle, so seeping is actually quite great. Plus the bed has hydraulic lifts to store TONS of stuff under it with the flip of a wrist.
Storage. THIS model has tons and tons of storage from a full closet in the bathroom to storage everywhere under the couch the kitchen table around and above all the beds, under the rv, just everywhere. If there was any way to make a storage compartment they did it on this model!
The RV has aftermarket MaxxAire brand vent covers so you can drive with the vents open on top to suck out hot air if she was sitting for awhile. They are a must for any RV when you first get her out of the sun and she wasn"t on.
This Comes with everything you need such as power cord for on site camping water attachments sewer line Hook up has a 55 gallon holding tank for black water 45 gallon holding tank for Gray water and 55 gallons of fresh water. This set up has one of the largest bathrooms in the center of it which is just amazing and my wife loves that. To be completely honest this is not real camping, but my wife loves this kind of camping. It has a Roll out awning that is just 7 years old. Power steps. A huge basement Storage Compartment that goes completely through the rear. Compartment that goes completely through the rear. Tons of storage underneath the hydraulic bed and many compartments to store all your central camping cooking and fun time needs.
You can run out and buy a brand new one for 120k if you like. . but this is just as fun and has many many miles left to go on the bulletproof v10 and auto tranny combo.
You could also buy yourself a Pull behind camper. Let me tell you I camp with friends that pull these and at the end of the weekend jealousy sets in when my wife can rest in bed and my kiddos can use the toilet when traversing to and from our spots hours away and not all be crammed into a bro-dozer/truck on the ride home. Not that there is anything wrong with bro-dozers!
Roof, excellent condition, replaced new in 2018. Tires, all have almost new tread/ Beds, rear queen and living room sofa sleeper in good condition. Exterior, fiberglass has some some local areas of delamination that stopped when the roof was replaced along with a soft spot by the stove yet we never put new laminate flooring down so it still has a soft spot which has metal underneath it so a quick repair would be new laminate or snap together fake wood. Upholstery, great condition, no rips or tears the original owners had plastic on everything. Generator, starts and runs, supplies power as designed, and oil has been changed annually on both the generator and 100% synthetic oil has been used in the v10 engine. Awning is 6 years old and is great. Water pump, operates 100%. Microwave is currently not working I havn"t had the need as we cook outside. Fridge works great. Toilet, operates. Both Showers inside and out work great as does the propane heater. The digital read out of the black water holding tank, the grey water holding tank, fresh water tank, and coach battery display all work great. By the way it also has a new Coach battery 2 years ago. Has a Flat screen tv in living room and CRT TV in bedroom, both operational with cable or almost any new hdtv antenna, or Amazon Firestick for use with your cell phone as a hotspot. Drawers and closet doors, operate as designed. Clock works. I did scratch a pole on the back left the third time I had it out, it was repaired yet isn"t a beauty pageant winner. The right side was repaired previous to my uncles ownership and you can see the mismatch outside of it. An additional clean water knob was put on by the original owner for easier clearing of the lines for winterizing. The Water heater and furnace are great and provide hot water and great heat even in cold weather. Transmission, operates as designed in forward and reverse and shifts smoother than my range rover. I had new pads put on and new lines also as the originals were rusty when they did the pads and suggested it. Refrigerator and roof air all work great.
