1971 Chevron B19 Chassis Number B19-71-37 - rolling chassis
The car was imported from Austria in 2013 as a rolling chassis, the following work was completed to make it into a fully running historic race car :-
the chassis was fully prepared by Vin Malke (Chevron) in the UK Not included in sale installed a 2.0 Cosworth BDG and FT200 - neither of which are included in the sale (the BDG is very unwell after a cam belt failure) . . but i"m willing to discuss the inclusion/exclusion of them. Wiring harness with soldered connectors Fuel system fully kitted out . . with Kinsler vapor separator tank, filters, Bosch high pressure electric pump and Facet low pressure pump cooling system with aluminium water lines, silicone hoses & oil cooling system with braided hoses and Setrab 19 row oil cooler correct Chevron uprights, bearings & centre-lock hubs front & rear from Chevron in the UK new brakes (calipers & rotors) & pads (Pagid RS19) front & rear with correct Lockheed calipers and AP racing discs (rotors) new wheels MB with Mag centres - 2 sets & tyres (Avon A11) with 2 brand new front tyres new rose joints all through painted blue with stripes that can be removed. Exhaust system by HyTech - ceramic coated by Zircotec Stach Chronotronic Tachometer Raceparts other gauges many, many other things
History . . it was used as a French hillclimb car with a Matra engine up till the early 90"s, the previous Austrian owner bought it and had the chassis repaired and bodywork supplied by Chevron in the UK. He installed a BMW M10 in it but rarely used it - so sold it.
I have raced the B19 at Thunderhill, Laguna Seca (including 2017 Monterey Historics) and Sears Point (Sonoma). I have a current entry for the Spring Classic at Laguna Seca in May.
