SVRA GOLD MEDALLION- rotisserie restoration just completed. Absolutely period correct. Original Midwestern Council of S.C.C. log book issued 6/25/78. I got my racing license that summer and participated in five races that season. The car is totally rebuilt using a rust free Arizona body shell. All systems are new or rebuilt. If you are looking for a period correct race car that can run with any of the vintage race groups then this is the car for you. On Jun-24-18 at 06:12:18 PDT, seller added the following information: As per the Gold Medallion engine rules : Original 010 Chevrolet block was used Correct casting # 202 straight plug heads with stainless valves Cloyes double roller timing chain set Eagle rods with forged pistons, 10.5 to one Three trap door oil pan with scrapers Original Chevrolet intake and distributor with magnetic pick up 20/20 Chevrolet flat tappet camshaft Tilton 7 1/4 3 disk clutch. The engine builder assured me that this engine should be with in the 300 HP limit
The chassis has a complete Hotchkis suspension package with solid bushed control arms and Moog offset upper shafts. The car was just completed and got its Gold Medallion final inspection by SVRA at Road America in May.
