Vehicle description
1985 Dodge B250 Horizon camper van. 70,000 miles. I have owned this van for approximately 3 years. It was purchased from a individual who had previously owned for 15 years and had never taken it camping and had it stored in a barn. He would get it out once a year to drive around the block. I was lucky enough to see it one year while it was out on its yearly drives but he wasn’t prepared to sell it until a year later. Since owning I have replaced front brake pads and cylinders. New tires, new batteries, (up front and rear.) Maxx fan installed. I have installed shelving in the rear where the shower used to be located,(it was removed prior to me). Plumbing and water systems work well. Water pump functions properly. Fridge works good but only operates off shore power. Front seats are in as great as condition as sofa and both swivel to the back. I had the upper windows of the van removed this year and new rubber gaskets installed. I haven’t tried the furnace in the van, but it does have one. This is a FUNTIONING CAMPER VAN, my wife and I live in Indiana and have taken this van to Shawnee National forest, in Illinois. Destin, Florida, and various other shorter trips. The van has performed great on all trips. We have reflectix cut and have made curtains for the windows, (mostly to survive Gulf shores in July.) It has a jack knife sofa in great condition and also comes with a table that mounts into recessed area in the floor. We use the upper area of the van for storage but this can be pulled back to allow addition sleeping area above. All interior lights work and have new led bulbs. Van is stored covered and is plugged into shore power and a battery tender for engine battery when van is not in use. There are some areas of rust on van, as seen in pictures. This van has been a GREAT vehicle, but as we have a young family it is hard to get away enough to enjoy it as much as we would like. Please email with any questions. I will be happy to send additional pictures or video if you would like.
