Vehicle description
Truck runs good just upgraded the the the overflow valve to a Tork Tek adjustable since the old one was worn and causing it to lose it"s prime after a few hour"s of sitting. It has 8.3 Cummins engine with Allison transmission. It has been straight piped, but it still isn"t that loud since the turbo quiets thing down. I"m the second owner(government is the 1st). I recently painted it and was not planning on selling it, but lack of storage space forces me to(too many toys). This truck is very reliable and would take it anywhere. The batteries were replaced with Optimas. The winch works great. It has a hard top that is not bent or banged up. The top by it self is worth $2500. All headlights and marker lights have been changed to LED. It is currently registered with Historical plates so registration and insurance is cheap. The flood lights that are on top of the bumper do not go with the truck. The fan clutch activation switch was recently replaced. The truck has no rust since it has spent all of its time in the Southern California. I upgraded the fuel water separator to a spin on type for ease of changing filters and better filtration.
The bad: transmission temp, oil pressure and fuel sending units need to be replaced I have the parts and they will go with the truck. I"ve had a lot of fun with this truck and hate to see it go, but I"m currently selling other things and if those go before this sells I"m taking it off the market. On the passenger side dash it is signed by Colonel Danny McKnight 75th Ranger Regiment known from the movie Blackhawk Down.
