Vehicle description
1998 E36 M3 logbooked BMW I-Prepared race car. Most folks racing with BMW in the NE know the car. Its a fast, well maintained no-excuses car developed to the limit of the IP rulebook with all the IP go-fast goodies. The car needs nothing, can win every IP race it enters as it sits. This is the full calorie deal, no IP-Lite here
The car has many, many wins, multiple IP track records and the 2019 IP championship under its belt. WGI 2:039, NJMP T-bolt w/chicane 1:3003, Mosport 1:308. The car won and set class track records at every track visited in 2019.
I have a spreadsheet with detailed build specs, including part install and replacement intervals, service records etc. High points are;
IP engine, MIke Yaskin build spring 2019. Only four race weekends on the engine. Epic race cams, Epic springs, OEM pistons, etc. Typical IP bolt-ons. The car hangs easily with the other big IP motors in the class, and has been 100% reliable, not so much as a hiccup since install
Race valved MCS dampers rebuilt in 2019
Diffsonline 3.64 current gen diff installed 2018
PFC Front BBK
AIM MXS with Smartycam
The car is very photogenic despite a couple of cosmetic bruises; small dent at the top of the front right fender, hood could use painting and the bumper could use a respray - typical race car stuff.
I have many more post pics, build sheet etc. Lots of folks know the car and interested buyers are welcome to chat with folks that have done work on the car
