1987 BMW 325e E30 road race/track day car for sale. Car previously ran EMRA and NASA GTS-1 with log books. Recently (past 2.5 years) has only been used for autocross and track days (maybe 6-8 in total, Palmer and Thompson Motor Speedway). Selling because it doesn’t get used as much as I had hoped. Car is eligible for vintage class racing. Drivetrain: 2.7 liter inline 6 with ECU chip, runs great, never had any problems, always ran full synthetic and changed with Mobil 1 15W-50 and Mobil 1 filter, K&N Filter, header with straight pipe exhaust back to a Supertrap muffler with baffles. 5 sp transmission shifts smooth and does not whine, has solid shift bushings and short throw kit. (there is a slight clunk coming from what sounds like the throw-out bearing but does not affect drivability at all), 3.55 and 4.10 Limited Slip Differentials Chassis/Safety: New powder coated and reinforced front subframe from Garagistic (professionally aligned after install). 6 point cage with roof bars and diagonal brace, bar padding where needed, corbeau drivers seat with a Jegs high back passenger seat, fire extinguisher with mount, window net, 5 point harness for driver and passenger (passenger missing crotch strap), full wide-view mirror, driver containment net through center of car. Safety equipment is outdated for club racing but is good for track days/autocross. Extras: EMRA log books from previous owner, Title for both car and trailer, boxes and boxes of spare parts, Hawk brake pads, Haynes manuals, etc etc. 4 BBS 14x6.5in aluminum snowflake wheels, 4 Team Dynamics Motorsports superlight aluminum 14x7 race wheels in great shape, 4 BBS 15x7 snowflake wheels with Toyo RA-1’s mounted, 4 stock wheels with junk tires for storage, wheel spacers with hub-centric adapter rings, and much more. Trailer: 2000 Pace American 20ft enclosed car trailer, tandem 3500lb axles, electric brakes with break-away actuator, D-ring floor mounts with heavy duty straps, E-track wall mounts with tire straps, 30” side door, 2 roof vents, weight distributing hitch with sway control spring bars, 7-pin plug with 12 volt power running to small interior lights, spare tire.
