1976 BMW 2002 Race car. This is one of three I have restored over the years. I have had fun vintage racing these cars. This one here was last raced at VIR last year. Car has a SVRA log book. The body was dipped to strip all paint. All suspension parts were rebuilt. Bilstein struts on the front along with 320i hubs, vented / slotted rotors. Volvo 4-piston calipers . Rear drum brakes were all gone through and rebuilt. Front and rear cross members were powder coated. Rear cross member with slotted brackets and eccentrics for camber and toe. Just 4 races on the engine since it was rebuilt. Racing aluminum double pass radiator, Fire Bottle system, MSD ignition box. Coil overs on the front, wedge bolts with conventional springs on the rear. Limited slip rear end prepared by aardvark.
