Vehicle description

I have had this car now for about 3 years and it is time to let it go.
1969 BMW 2002ti VIN:1681415 / Eng: 350487 / head:121T.
Built and raced by German tuner Holger Tapp - aka Turbo Tapp in the early to mid 1970"s and raced in Northern Europe and USA 1970"s and 1980"s. I do not have history or the logbook to document all races - but online search you can find vintage photos of this car in earlier boxed-fender incarnation as well as the present turbo flare setup with large taillights - stickers on the car for participation in NHRA World Finals in Ontario, CA - 1978 - 1981; and Sko-Uno festival Mantorp Sweden.
Motor #350487 I have not tried to start it up and do not know precise displacement; ZF 4-speed manual transmission. Twin Weber 48 DCOE. Other custom race equipment includes fiberglass hood and trunk; Roll bar; "drag-water" and pump for burnout; interior adjustable boost & brake bias;
Photos illustrate the condition - very solid candidate for restoration but some rust rocker panels and filler in the drivers door and rear 1/4 panel; assorted dings, scratches, windshield has bubbles. I don’t have the turbo manifold.
This is a race-car and does not appear to have ever been registered in the USA. I will provide a bill of sale. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks and happy bidding!
