| “Lots of people watching and asking about it, so who want for Christmas! I will include more pics of the new sandblasting and paint job plus interior, as requested.Built in 1988, retrofitted to OT-90 in 1990, according to stamp on front. I bought it in 2012, starts and runs great! I take it to Stone Mtn MG Shoot and run over cars! See video Link.50cal barrel included for visual looks, no weapons on this Infantry Fighting Vehicle. Headsets included, and even radio powers up, 60W and transmitts, in some HAM bands, so be aware of FCC legality!Turret spins easily by hand, no hydraulics since its a retroed BMP into an OT-90. Book says it floats, pumps work, but I have not tested it! I cant bear the thought if it sank! Early pics show paint peeling, red is the primer and the shiny parts were scuffed and resprayed. Looks and drives great, Ive taught the kids how to drive it and they have a blast. Metal tracks, so no onroad use. It is overwidth, so permitting needed to trailer it.” |

- 8min into the video is a great shot of me driving over cars last year!
History :For treaty weapons convention in Europe, Czechoslovakia was required to reduce its number of heavy armed carriers. In consequence, the country decided to attach OT-64 turrets (considered light armament as there is no gun)since it had loads on stock to its numerous bmp-1 tracked personnel carriers. So created, the OT-90, called also “havel"s tigers”. Capacities: Having no gun and much lighter tower makes the vehicles even stronger in heavy terrain. Moreover, the turret being broader, your crew will feel much less claustrophobic in the back.
Easy and fun to drive, English Tech Manual and starting instructions included!
Technical data: Weight: 12.4 tonnes Length: 6.74 Width: 2.94 m Height: 2.15 m Crew: 3 (+8 passengers) Armour 20 mm (max) Engine: Diesel 300 hp (225 kW) Operational range 600 km Speed: 65 km/h (road), 45 km/h (off-road)
