Interior: All of the 15 bench seats are in great condition, no tears or cracking Seat belts are intact and operational Space for wheelchairs Flooring is solid and is in good shape, no wear through or holes Windows all open and close with no cracks or broken glass Interior paint is in good condition with minimal wear Driver"s seat is good shape, not broken down or worn. Exterior:
This has always been an Arizona bus so absolutely no rust. 6 Brand New Continental 11R 22.50 tires. NOT recaps 2 brand new batteries All glass is good (not broken or cracked) and side glass is tinted All the lighting, signals, and air actuated stop sign still work, so if needed as a bus, it is operational and ready for service. Bus is in great shape and paint is holding up well. Handicap lift and controller work perfectly, and is rated for up to 800 lbs
Drivetrain:
5.9L Cummins 12V diesel engine which is known for its longevity and great fuel mileage. Also during this generation the pump was changed to the P-7100 which is preferred over the previous generation and provided more horsepower and torque Runs excellent Allison Automatic transmission Shifts Smooth Air brakes work great
This bus is in excellent condition and runs flawlessly. Would be perfect for a motorhome conversion, using as a bus for churches, private schools, tours, party bus, or gut the inside and it becomes and excellent enclosed machine for swap meets, motorcycle transport, flea markets, and whatever else you want to put in it. Ready to go as is, or with whatever modifications you want. The wheelchair lift is nice even if you don"t need the handicap functionality. We use it to lift heavy things into the bus instead of trying to carry them in and out ourselves. This bus rides great for a school bus, cruises down the freeway and gets to where it needs to go. It"s a great size. Not the shorty bus, so if you need it to fit more people and to have more space it does just that, but also not the really long 40" rigs. Nice, manageable driving length, with adequate space for passengers. It"s a great find being in the condition it is, with the sought after Cummins motor, and the more desirable pump. Having the new tires and batteries alone, is a huge plus and already puts ahead of most of the others you find.
