Vehicle description
1960 BEECHCRAFT H50 , SERIAL NUMBER HH127, N11KM, PROJECT AIRCRAFT.
I BOUGHT THIS AIRPLANE TO PART OUT, I would like to try to sell it whole before I part it out.
the plane is in fairly good condition and only a few things are needed to get a ferry permit.
a cylinder needs to be pulled from each engine to check for the rod bolt AD
it needs elevators due to corrosion of the magnesium skins.
most of the interior is missing, it was pulled some years ago and sent to an upholstery shop never to be picked back up, i have no idea where its at now. there are seats but they are incorrect for this plane however they are beechcraft. the panel is out hoses and wires have been cut. it has a dual control. the panel is included, no radios, panel is missing 6 of the instruments.
the engines: Lycoming igso 480 fuel injected supercharged engines.
these engine are supposed to have less than 500 hours on them, according to the local pilot who flew the plane here from texas on a ferry permit. at the time the plane had full logs since new, this plane was purchased by MOBIL OIL new, it has changed hands twice since.
there are no logs, the previous owner went thru a divorce and the logs were lost.
the engine do run well and the plane was taxied around here an ran up several times prior to the panel being removed.
the props are in good condition and from what i understand the props on the supercharged engines do not have the A/D.
the windshield looks good side window are all sun beaten.
there seems to be little corrosion except for the elevators.
I am going to run this auction one time and if it doesn"t sell for a reasonable amount, I will be cutting it up, they only made some 900 beech t-bones many of them have already been cut up, I really don"t want to destroy another.
please feel free to message me with any questions you may have.
I do have all paperwork from the FAA that i got with the plane.
this plane does have the JATO rocket assisted take off system for short take off situations.
I do have manuals and some other paperwork as well as a history cd from the FAA.
the plane is located in Corona, California.
