BD-4 Project with Data Plate and Paperwork. Was a flying aircraft originally fitted with a O-360, 180HP engine. The aircraft was disassembled and modifications started to redesign the cockpit interior to create more space in the rear for camping gear, etc. All new panelling was designed and cut for the rear of the cockpit interior. Conversion was started to replace the yokes with control sticks (included) and to fit a Van’s RV 7A Engine Mount and Nose Wheel assembly (available but not included with this auction) Original Engine Mount included. A new firewall was installed and a new one piece belly skin from aft of the fuselage back to the tail of the aircraft was also fitted. Work was being done by a professional aviation shop but the client lost interest. Project includes original fiberglass wings, all control surfaces, seats, nose wheel assembly, doors, some interior and boxes of bits and pieces including used instruments, electrical stuff, etc. Lots of good parts such as antennas, wheels, brakes, etc. Copies of the plans and other paperwork also included. Not included are engine, prop and other firewall forward components except for the cowlings. What you see in the photos is what’s included. Project will require work to complete the instrument panel, interior and controls but other than that the airframe is complete. Paint is in reasonable condition.
