1929 American LaFrance Type 145 Reg. # 6587 Ship Date of 10/05/1929 to the City of Williamsport Pa. This fire truck is in near original condition, has the original Buda engine, is chain drive and ran in parades etc. until the owner was no longer able to operate it due to health. I purchased it from the estate auction and brought it home. The engine turns over and I have no doubt it will run, but I have not had the time to try it. The truck has new tires put on it in recent years, and is complete with original paint and gold leaf. The truck has the original pompier ladder, folding attic ladder and extension ladder as well as all of the fittings, nozzles etc. The original pictures of this truck show the same set up. The truck is also equipped with a deluge gun. I do not have room to store it and need it gone before winter.
