1994 AM General M-998 HMMWV. Set up as Light Recon / Forward Air Control. This is a VSE Corp Rebuild, has less than 2500 miles on total overhaul. Has special forces GMV Cargo Rail System, GMV Swing Out Gun Mounts, Luverne Brush Guard, Airlift Bumpers, 6.2 Lt Diesel, 3 speed auto trans. No leaks. Runs / Rolls pin straight, starts right up, has upgraded glow plug controller and new glow plugs. Frame / undercarriage is very clean! I added: 5 New Baja TA Military Tires (500 miles) Cost 2650.00 alone New Axles all four corners New Belts New Clutch fan unit New water pump New thermostat New hoses (all) Swing out spare tire carrier New soft top and soft doors Cargo area Rhino lined RT 246 / VRC 12 Ground to Ground Radio Set (Working!) (The RT 442 receiver is from the Isreali Army and was used in "73 war!) PRC-113 Ground to Air Radio (working!) I AM A LICENSED HAM RADIO OPERATOR, SO SOME OF THE FREQS ARE LEGAL FOR ME TO TALK ON (10 METERS, 17 ,METERS, 15 METERS AND VHF) BUT MOST FREQS THESE RADIOS USE ARE NOT LEGAL. ESPCIALLY THE AIR BAND ON THE GROUND TO AIR RADIO. SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU DECIDE TO BE AN A$$ AND BREAK THE LAW, IT HAS NOTHING TO SO WITH ME.
All interior insulation mats are installed, and in awesome shape! This isn"t a dogged out M998, it is in amazing shape, paint is lovely, no dents / dings. This truck has won me many first place trophies at car shows. I have the dummy M60E3, M249SAW, and M60E6, can"t put up pics due to getting ad removed. This truck looks bad rolling down the road and turns heads. Has full NYS CLEAN TITLE!
Has an extra complete set of 5 NDT Tires with run flats (less than 2500 miles on them. 1000.00 deposit (non-refundable) due at time of winning bid, balance in 3 days (prefer cash, Bank Wire Transfer, or cashiers check, if cashiers check, no pick up until the check CLEARS LEGIT) I have had fake cashiers checks passed off. No release of vehicle until all funds are safe in my bank.
NOTE! ! I have had many questions regarding registering the M998 in NY. This HMMWV has a current NY title and registration! It has passenger plates on it, and the Title has it listed as an AM General M99. I have heard no other issues registering M998s with other owners in NY (I have two friends who have M998s, both live in my town, and both have full titles and NY registrations. As always, the way you approach DMV will have a lot to do with your success. You cannot barge in the place hollerin" that you want to register your Humvee or your Military Humvee. .that is a one way trip right out the door with your tail between your legs and your hat in your hand. Be calm, and polite, and show your nice clean full on road title and your registration paperwork filled out as an "AM General M99" like the title says and you will have no issues. You also check off "Suburban" or "SUV" on your registration form too. Just don"t act like a tool, and be tellin" the clerk you"re a tax payer. That dog ain"t gonna hunt. However, to be sure, I called NY DMV myself, the clerk told that as long as this M998 has a clean title, and the VIN# has been registered in NY previously, they WILL issue a registration. Worst case they may make you use historical plates.
