AM GENERAL 1992 M998
This has been completely restored with a frame off restoration. I have never seen another one with this much detail, time, and money put into it. It started out as a 6.5 NA diesel W/ 3 speed. I was able to source a low mileage AM General 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine w/ 480LE 4-speed transmission. The work was done by professional diesel mechanics. Most of the work was completed by a Humvee diesel mechanic. I will include a build list down below.
6.5 Turbo diesel w/4speed-Original AM general production engine and transmission Full LED lighting package Exterior Custom Vinyl Jeep Seats Custom Stainless Full Exhaust-Deleted Speedhut guages w/ GPS speedometer- -I tried keeping original guages but they are junk Hostile Wheels 22" Gladiator Comp X Tires- I have original wheels and Kevlar tires Frame was painted It was repainted military CARC green-Alternative was used due to CARC being highly carcinogenic All original Military decals were used- Can be pulled off easily if you do not want Military issue Antenna whips Wetsounds Soundbar w/ 10" Sub all Bluetooth New Brake and Fuel lines Upgraded Heavy Duty Airlift Hooks All NUTS, BOLTS, WASHERS were STAINLESS STEEL NO EXPENSE SPARED
Parts recently replaced New radiator New Fan Clutch New Belt New Glowplugs As well as some mechanical items
The VIC-3 Intercom system is available for an additional cost.
