I"m selling my 1992 M998 A1 restored HMMWV. This was purchased by myself as military surplus. The ENTIRE vehicle has been gone through. YOU WILL NOT FIND A NICER ONE OUT THERE! It is turn key and ready to go.
It is in parade/show condition or you can just take it to the dunes and have one of the coolest rides there. This thing handles like a dream on and off-road and boy does it turn heads! It does 70-75 mph no problem on the highway. It is completely street legal all the way down to the license plate light. This comes with a clean AZ on-road vehicle title just like any other vehicle would.
-Brand new professionally done interior, exterior, and undercarriage paint in the correct military 686 tan color
-Brand new soft top
-ALL fluids and filters are brand new
-Runs perfectly, fires right up, no leaks anywhere
-Restored bullet proof doors, these are actual military kevlar doors, not the crap "X-doors" that everyone is selling
-Original military markings are still in place
-M16 mounts are in place by each front door
-Brand new bullet proof door windows with 3M 5% limo safety/security film
-Brand new dual optima batteries
-Brand new seat cushions and seat belts
-Windshields have no cracks but does have a couple of chips but they will not spread and aren"t worth changing the glass for
-37" Tires have about 90% tread and are the correct Goodyear military run-flats
-Truck has 50,124 actual miles on it
-Truck is 4 wheel drive and has a 3 speed automatic transmission
-6.5L diesel engine
This truck was originally from an Army National Guard unit stationed out of Texas. It was originally the units 1SGT"s vehicle and was in very good condition for a military vehicle. I was in the Marine Corps and I know what we did to HMMWV"s. Being that this was the 1SGT"s truck it was never abused and it really does show. This truck has no rust on it anywhere. It has no body or undercarriage damage. I have a ton of photos from the vehicle still on base showing all the original markings and the original condition of the vehicle. This truck was originally a two door troop carrier as you can see by the last photo. I did the complete four man conversion on it.
